Here is a breakdown of players to consider from each position for your League of Legends roster from DraftKings’ two-game NEST slate on Thursday.

Captain
Jiumeng ($11,700)
Team WE had a sensational summer season this year. Much of their lane dominance was down to Jiumeng, who averaged a stellar 4.53 kills per game. He carried his kill participation to over 10 with 5.95 assists per map as well. His kill production was comfortably the best in his team. From an owner’s perspective, either fantasy or franchise, that’s exactly what you want from your star bot laner.
Other to consider: Puff ($11,100)
Top
New ($6,200)
The divergence or delta between most and least expensive top laners isn’t too high on this slate. That means you can look to draft an expensive top laner to differentiate your roster. I’d look for New on this slate because he has plenty of experience in the big leagues. He made quite a splash in summer, averaging 2.26 kills with a KDA of 2.6.
Other to consider: Aliez ($5,600)
Jungler
beishang ($7,000)
This is my punt for this slate. beishang is rather expensive at $7,000, but he can provide serious value with his form and experience. He had the best KDA for Team WE in a successful summer split. With 3.09 kills, 1.93 deaths and 7.0 assists, he built his commendable KDA to 5.23. He is averaging 73.7 DKFP per game, comfortably the highest for this category.
Other to consider: XLB ($6,800)
Mid
Teacherma ($7,400)
EDITOR’S NOTE: Shanks ($7,600) will start in his place of Teacherma in this contest.
Drafting three high-quality offensive players from a team as good as Team WE is a serious flex. You will have to sacrifice in other categories but this strategy isn’t overly risky. Teacherma will likely aim to improve on his kill productivity, which was 3.12 in summer, a tad low. However, it’s hard to argue against his overall efficiency.
Other to consider: Captain ($7,000)
ADC
Puff ($7,400)
While Invictus Gaming has had a topsy-turvy year so far, Puff has had a tremendous offensive year. His work ethic in the bottom lane has thrown games open for Invictus, allowing them to claim dragons and barons en route to nexus destruction. He followed a terrific spring season with 4.44 kills as an average in summer. With 4.32, he had the best KDA in Invictus Gaming in this year’s summer split.
Other to consider: Gala ($7,600)
Support
Bafang ($5,000)
Here is where you will have to make the sacrifice. Bafang is a temporary substitute for this tournament, coming in from Oh My Dream into Oh My God. He has had a steady run in the LDL for OMD this year. You might not want to read too much into these stats because it isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison. He averaged 9.18 assists per game along with 0.82 kills in 61 maps in the LDL’s summer season.
Team
Team WE ($5,200)
With this exact roster, you’re still left with $100 in case you want to make some tweaks. Team WE will fancy its chances against a stumbling, inconsistent Oh My God team ($4,200). In 43 maps in the regular season, Team WE won 24, while OMG won just 15 of 41 maps in summer.
