This Sunday afternoon brings another great fantasy football week from DraftKings in Week 8 with an 11-game main slate. There was another Milly Maker on the board from DraftKings, giving players a chance to walk away with a big payday in the $3.5M Fantasy Football Millionaire contest. We’ll also keep an eye on the DraftKings Reignmakers lineups. This week, there was a $10K free contest against the cast of “Good Morning Football,” and any entry that beats out the highest-scoring celebrity entry will also earn an entry to another exclusive $10K contest next week.
You can also find coverage throughout the day on The Dream Stream where Leaderboard Live will keep you up to speed and offer analysis for all the big plays and injuries throughout Sunday.
Contest Leaderboard
The Milly Maker sweat came down to the last few minutes of the last few games, and even beyond that since the Saints and Bears needed OT to decide their contest in the late window. Ultimately, ‘ghartman314’ was able to put together a great finishing kick and pull out the win by just 0.3 DKFP over ‘steelers8036.’ The entry from ‘ghartman314’ had big games from Patrick Mahomes ($8,100; 39.64 DKFP), Dalvin Cook ($7,500; 51.6 DKFP), the Dolphins D/ST ($2,400; 23.0 DKFP) and Travis Kelce ($6,600; 27.9 DKFP). In the late games, DK Metcalf ($7,500; 43.1 DKFP) came up huge with 12 catches for 161 yards and two touchdowns. The production that put him over the top, though, came from Kendrick Bourne ($3,500; 16.1 DKFP), who racked up fantasy points in garbage time against the Seahawks.
Coming to the wire, the entry from ‘tprat84,’ who finished third, had Deonte Harris ($3,300; 4.7 DKFP), but Harris didn’t get any catches late that could have put him over the top. Also in the late window, Brandon Aiyuk ($5,800; 23.1 DKFP) boosted an entry from ‘JeezyTheGorilla’ into the top five, while ‘monahajp’ moved up to a tie for sixth with big games from Russell Wilson ($7,800; 28.74 DKFP) and DeeJay Dallas ($4,000; 22.8 DKFP).

The cast of “Good Morning Football” had a very strong showing overall with good numbers for every one of their four entries. In the end, Kyle Brandt took home the win with an impressive 165.04 DKFP. Of all the celebrity entries we have had so far in the Reignmakers, it was the second-highest scoring entry with big games from Mahomes, Kelce and the Dolphins’ D/ST. Tyler Lockett ($7,100; 7.3 DKFP) and Kareem Hunt ($6,900; 9.3 DKFP) didn’t do much despite their lofty salaries.
After a nice push in the late games, Kay Adams moved from fourth place up to second with Brandon Aiyuk ($5,800; 23.1 DKFP) and Keenan Allen ($6,200; 21.7 DKFP). She couldn’t quite catch Brandt, though, and finished 13 points short. Her biggest letdowns were Jonathan Taylor ($6,600; 5.1 DKFP), Jonnu Smith ($4,100; 4.9 DKFP) and Latavius Murray ($4,300; 6.1 DKFP).
Peter Schrager got good games from Davante Adams ($8,800; 30.3 DKFP) and Cooper Kupp ($6,500; 25.0 DKFP), but he slid to third after holding the early lead and got duds from Cole Kmet ($2,500; 1.2 DKFP), Tevin Coleman ($4,000; 2 DKFP) and the Bills D/ST ($3,300; 4.0 DKFP). Unfortunately for him, Nate Burleson and his wonderfully-named ‘MakeItReignMan’ entry came in fourth place. He hit with Mahomes, but had a quiet day across the rest of this lineup, especially Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6,500; 6,1 DKFP), Jarvis Landry ($5,600; 9.2 DKFP) and D’Andre Swift ($5,300; 5.3 DKFP). Burleson’s total still puts him in the middle of the pack of the celebrity results on the season, but he was up against strong competition in this week’s contest.
If your entry in the Reignmakers Contest scored more than Brandt’s 165.04, you’ll get an entry into next week’s exclusive $10k contest.

The Bills answered, though, continuing to find plenty of success on the ground with Josh Allen ($7,000; 13.46 DKFP) running for a touchdown to put the Bills up 21-14. The Patriots answered with a two-yard touchdown from their rushing QB, Cam Newton ($5,700; 19.36 DKFP). The Bills went up by a field goal, and it looked like the Patriots were driving for a game-tying FG or the game-winning touchdown when Newton lost a fumble while scrambling for a first down. The Patriots lost their fourth straight game, leaving the Bills firmly in control of the AFC East.
The Bengals got a touchdown pass from Joe Burrow ($6,200; 18.86 DKFP) to Tyler Boyd ($6,600; 19.6 DKFP) to go up 24-7 before A.J. With the wind blowing in Cleveland, the Browns and Raiders played a scoreless first quarter. In the second quarter, Cleveland finally got on the board with a field goal from Cody Parkey. The Raiders appeared to have a touchdown from Henry Ruggs ($4,900), but even a replay review didn’t get Las Vegas the touchdown. They did kick a field goal, though, to take the lead, 6-3. In an AFC East matchup, the Bills got an early rushing touchdown from Zack Moss ($4,400) and the Patriots had a pair of field goals in a quiet 7-6 game at halftime.
The debut of Tua Tagovailoa ($5,600) got off to a rough start against the Rams, who forced a fumble on the rookie’s second snap of the game and converted that into a touchdown run from WR Robert Woods ($6,300). Tua bounced back, though, and threw his first touchdown pass in the NFL to DeVante Parker ($5,700) in the highlight below. The Dolphins’ DST ($2,400) stepped up with a fumble return and a punt return for touchdowns. Myles Gaskin ($5,200) had a touchdown just before halftime and Tua took a 28-7 lead to the locker room in his first NFL start as a result.
