Despite missing a par putt on the 18th which would have given him a victory in regulation, Martin Laird won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in a three-way playoff at TPC Summerlin. Laird beat out Austin Cook and Matthew Wolff ($10,000) with a birdie on the second sudden death playoff hole for his second win at the Shriners and his fourth win on Tour overall.
Déjà vu in Vegas for Martin Laird.

This week, the PGA TOUR stays in Las Vegas and moves to the Shadow Creek Golf Course, which is stepping in to host The CJ Cup which is traditionally held in South Korea. The course is new to the PGA TOUR, but did host the inaugural The Match: Tiger vs. Phil in 2018. This event will see the return of Brooks Koepka ($9,700), who won this event at Nine Bridges in 2018. The field was initially headlined by Dustin Johnson ($11,100), who was the favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook at +850, but Johnson withdrew from the tournament after testing positive for COVID-19. Justin Thomas ($10,800) won this event in 2019 in South Korea, finishing 20-under-par and two strokes ahead of Danny Lee ($6,300). Thomas (+1000), who also won this event in 2017, is just behind Jon Rahm (+900; $11,300) on DraftKings Sportsbook, and just ahead of Xander Schauffele (+1100; $10,300) and Rory McIlroy (+1200; $10,600).
