How to watch women’s 1500-meter race via live stream in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics

We go over how to live stream Friday’s women’s 1500-meter final in the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

The women’s 1500-meter final is set for Friday, August 6 as the last individual track and field event on the day. The 13-runner field features two Americans in Elinor Purrier St. Pierre and Cory Ann McGee. Purrier St. Pierre ran 4:01.00 in the semifinals and finished in sixth place, while McGee ran 4:10.39 and qualified for the final based off of time.

The race will air live via online stream on Peacock, at NBCOlympics.com and through the NBC Sports mobile app. You’ll need a cable subscription for access. It will then air on replay in prime time on NBC starting at 8 p.m. ET. If you aren’t in front of a TV, you can also get a trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the event.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Faith Kipyegon of Kenya is the odds-on favorite to win the gold medal for the women’s 1500-meter race at -190. Kipyegon had the one of the best times in the semis, running 3:56.90. Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands has the second-best odds to win at +135, while Laura Muir of Great Britain has the third-best odds at +2000. US runners Purrier and McGee are long shots to win the gold at +4000 and +5000.
