The men’s 4x100-meter relay final is set for Friday, August 6 as the final track and field event for the day. The eight-team field is stacked with Jamaica, Italy, and Canada as the favorites to win a medal. Jamaica currently holds the Olympic and World records in the 4x100-meter relay with a blistering time of 36.84, which was set by Usain Bolt and Co. in the 2012 London Olympics.
The race will air live via online stream on Peacock, at NBCOlympics.com and through the NBC Sports mobile app. You’ll need a cable subscription for access. It will then air on replay in primetime on NBC starting at 8 p.m. ET. If you aren’t in front of a TV, you can also get a trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the event.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Jamaica is the favorite to win the gold medal at +130 odds. However, Italy is right there with Jamaica, with the second-best odds to win gold at +450. If the Italians want to pull the upset, they will need another tremendous performance from Lamont Marcell Jacobs, who won the gold in the men’s 100M finals. Lastly, Canada has the third-best odds to win the gold at +500 odds.
