What Olympic basketball semifinal bracket looks like for men's tournament

Team USA has advanced in men's basketball. We break down the semifinal bracket.

The 2021 Tokyo Olympics men's basketball tournament is into the knockout stage and the final four is fast approaching. The quarterfinals wrap up Tuesday morning with Australia and Argentina closing it out. The semifinals are scheduled for Thursday and the gold and bronze medal games are on Saturday.

The United States pulled away against Spain to win 95-81 and advance out of the quarterfinals. Spain led after one quarter and the contest was tied at the half. The US took the lead at the 9:20 mark of the third quarter and put Spain away in the fourth quarter.

Team USA remains the gold medal favorite, installed at -295 at DraftKings Sportsbook coming out of the quarterfinals. They will face the Australia, who beat Argentina 97-59. Slovenia faces France in the other semifinal matchup. Slovenia has opened as a two-point favorite in that semifinal.
