The Olympics return for a busy Thursday schedule in Tokyo, starting Wednesday evening in the United States. Swimming continues to run in the evening in the US, with five different events holding medal rounds between 9:30 and 11:31 p.m. Wednesday night. The women’s individual all-around gets going at 6:50 a.m. ET on Thursday.
The US has several chances at gold on Wednesday/Thursday. Caeleb Dressel is favored to win the 100m freestyle and Bobby Finke has an outside shot at the 800m freestyle. The women’s all-around could be a bit more wide-open now that Simon Biles has withdrawn fro the event.
The full slate will be split between NBC, NBC Sports Network, and USA. If you are not in front of a television, NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports mobile app will both offer streaming coverage, but you’ll need a cable subscription for access. If you don’t have one, you can get a trial option through YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the various events.
