How the 3x3 women’s basketball medal bracket is shaping up at the Tokyo Olympics

The competition has moved into the knockout stage with USA leading the way.

The women’s 3x3 basketball competition at the Tokyo Summer Olympics is moving into the knockout stage as the group stage comes to a close. The final group stage matches conclude Tuesday morning and will have an impact on the seeding for the quarterfinal and semifinal stages.

The United States has dominated the group stage so far and has secured a spot in the semifinal. Italy has clinched a quarterfinal berth. ROC, Japan and China are also contenders to knock off the Americans and should be involved in the knockout round.

USA is favored to beat Japan, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The Americans are -4.5 against the spread and -435 on the moneyline. China should easily move past Mongolia in the final group stage game for those two teams. The Chinese are -9 against the spread according to DraftKings Sportsbook in that game.
