Olympic medal events to watch on Sunday

We take a look at the medal events on the schedule for Sunday in the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

The Olympics are into the first weekend and the second day of medals round events take place on Sunday in Tokyo. For those of us watching in the United States, gold medals will be handed out late Saturday night and into early Sunday morning.

Below is a full rundown of events that will hand out medals overnight. There are 18 different events and 14 of them have odds live at DraftKings Sportsbook. From those 14, ten offer odds on American athletes and three of them have a favored American. The Team USA favorites include Nyjah Huston for men’s street skateboarding, Chase Kalisz for the 400 meter men’s individual medley, and Emma Weyatt for the 400 meter women’s individual medley.
