The Vegas Golden Knights take on the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night from Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary.

The Golden Knights are 3-0-0 to open the season but haven’t really been tested. The Flames will be a tough task. Logan Thompson has been great in net, stopping 54 of 57 shots over two starts with a 1.50 GAA. Jonathan Marchessault leads the team with three goals. The Golden Knights enter Tuesday ranked 3rd in shots per game at 39.3, though the goals aren’t flowing just yet.

The Flames are 2-0-0 after taking down the two teams who were in the West Final last season. Calgary’s turnover on the roster has worked out fine so far with Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri being brought in to replace Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk. Kadri has three points in two games. The goaltending hasn’t been great but the offense has compensated with nine goals.
