The game Tuesday night between the Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators has been postponed due to concerns surrounding Covid-19, TSN’s Pierre LeBrun reported. This is due to a Covid-19 situation with the Hurricanes, per LeBrun. This would be the first game the NHL has to postpone this season due to health and safety protocols. Be sure to adjust your lineups for players on the ‘Canes and Preds.
The Hurricanes and Preds were set to finish up a two-game set. The Canes defeated the Preds on Monday night, 4-2. That moved the Hurricanes to 2-1-0 on the season, dropping the Preds to the same record in the Central Division.
The NHL had to postpone Dallas Stars games in advance of the season due to Covid-19 concerns. This is the first game that has been postponed in-season. It’s unclear which players have been affected by the outbreak and contact tracing.
