Update: Siemian finished his first drive 2-of-5 for 20 yards. The Jets’ defense is going to have to step up to give the offense another chance.

The New York Jets are struggling in their Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons. They are losing 13-8 in the fourth quarter. New York was attached to Zach Wilson for so long that now that they are exploring their options, it seems like guys have shorter leashes. Tim Boyle has been benched in favor of backup quarterback Trevor Siemian.

Boyle’s day currently finishes with his going 14-of-25 for 148 yards with an interception. He had one carry for two yards. Siemian hasn’t played an NFL regular season game since last season with the Chicago Bears. He played in two games and finished with 187 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Siemian will have a chance to lead New York to its first win since Week 8 over the New York Giants.
