The Chiefs are coming off a hard-fought win against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12, overcoming a 14-point deficit for a 31-17 win. That prevented a two-game losing streak for the Chiefs and moved them to 8-3 on the season.
Despite the record, tied for best in the AFC, Kansas City’s offense has struggled this season, averaging just over 23 points per game. A lot of that has to do with a less-than-stellar group of wide receivers. Still, quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been effective. Last week was his 66th game with at least two touchdown passes, which puts him over Dan Marino for the most by a QB in their first seven seasons. The Chiefs have won all six games they’ve played on Sunday night with Mahomes quarterbacking the team.
The Packers have now won two in a row, three of their last four, and they’re coming off an impressive 29-22 win over the Detroit Lions. Quarterback Jordan Love seems to have shaken off his early season struggles. He threw three touchdowns and no interceptions against the Lions, giving him five touchdowns and no picks over his last two contests. The Packers, 6-point underdogs here, have won four of their last five games as underdogs.
