Breaking down the NFL weather forecast for Week 16, what it means for fantasy football, betting

The weather report can impact fantasy football and betting. We break down the important information you need to prepare for Week 16.

The NFL is in Week 16, and this week’s schedule is all over the place. To go along with the usual primetime games, there will be three games on Saturday and three games for the Christmas Day slate on Monday. Being that we are in the latter part of December, weather can play a big factor in open-air stadiums, whether it be from wind, rain, or snow.

Here are the weather forecasts for the 16 NFL games scheduled for Week 16 via AccuWeather.

Worst weather games

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The high for the day is 50, with a low of 43. There is a 60% chance of rain, and the weather description is “cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle in the afternoon.”

Dallas Cowboys vs. Miami Dolphins

“Intervals of cloud and sunshine with a shower in spots; breezy.” There is a 40% chance of rain and 14 mph winds expected. The high for the day is 77, with a low of 68.

New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos

There is an 88% chance of snow with a high of 37 and a low of 18. With this being the Sunday night game, it is expected to be “colder with snow at times, accumulating an additional 1-2 inches.” The wind is expected to blow at six mph.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs

“Cooler with occasional rain.” There is a 91% chance of rain, and 13 mph winds are expected. The high will be 48, with a low of 32.

Better weather games

Green Bay Packers vs. Carolina Panthers

The high for the day is 63, with a low of 44. There is an 8% chance of rain, and the weather description reads, “mostly sunny and mild; a great afternoon for football.” The wind shouldn’t be a factor at four mph.

Seattle Seahawks at Tennessee Titans

There is an 18% chance of rain for the day, but the weather description reads “warm with periods of clouds and sunshine; a great afternoon for football.” The high for the day is 68, with a low of 54.

Washington Commanders vs. New York Jets

The high for the day is 47, with a low of 40 and a 19% chance of rain. It will be mostly cloudy, and the wind is expected to blow at six mph.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

“Periods of clouds and sunshine.” There is a 25% chance of rain for the day, but a high of 78 and a low of 64.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Chicago Bears

The high for the day is 53, with a low of 45. “Mostly cloudy and mild; an afternoon shower in spots.” There is a 40% chance of rain, and 10 mph winds are expected.

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles

“Intervals of clouds and sunshine” with a 25% chance of rain. The high for the day is 53, with a low of 39 and six mph winds are expected.

Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers

The high for the day is 61, with a low of 39. There is only a 4% chance of rain with “intervals of clouds and sunshine.”
