The NFC East gets the spotlight on Sunday Night Football to close out the Week 14 Sunday slate. The Dallas Cowboys (9-3) host the Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) with the division lead up for grabs between the two likely playoff teams.
Philadelphia currently leads the NFC East with a one-game lead on Dallas. The Eagles won the first matchup between these two teams in Week 9. Dallas led that game 17-14 heading into halftime, but a pair of third quarter touchdowns put Philadelphia over the top. The Eagles are coming off a 42-19 loss to the 49ers that snapped a five-game win streak. The Cowboys have won four straight and are coming off a 41-35 win over the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football in Week 13.
If the Eagles win this game, they will take a two-game lead in the NFC East with four games remaining. They’ll have the head-to-head tiebreaker, which would make that effectively a three-game lead. If the Cowboys win, they’ll move into a tie for first place and actually have the slight tiebreaker edge. They will have split the head-to-head, which moves the tiebreaker to divisional record. The Cowboys would be 4-1 in divisional games while the Eagles would be 3-1.
The Cowboys are a field goal favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. The point total is installed at 51.5.
