NFL standings, Week 11: Breaking down the AFC South heading toward Week 12

The Indianapolis Colts were on a bye in Week 11 and in the meantime, the top two teams in the AFC South continued handling their business. It’s not quite a two-team race yet, but the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans are looking like the two best teams in the division.

The Jaguars hosted the Tennessee Titans and rolled over them with ease. A week removed from an embarrassing loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Jaguars scored 27 straight points to open the game. They won 34-14 to maintain their hold on first place in the AFC South.

The Texans hosted Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. Houston was favored by Arizona is a different team with Murray back at the QB position. The Cardinals led twice in the first quarter, but C.J. Stroud kept at it and helped carry the Texans to a 21-16 win. They remain a game back of the Jaguars heading into a huge Week 12 showdown between the two teams in Houston.
