As Week 11 gets underway, we take a look at which head coaches may find their seats getting hotter after this week’s results.
Frank Reich, Carolina Panthers
Reich tops this list just about every week as the Panthers continue to lose. This week, Carolina fell to the Dallas Cowboys to move to 1-9. Their only win so far was over the Texans in Week 8. Reich’s investment in Bryce Young is not paying off this season, and the Panthers traded away their top pick in 2024.
Ron Rivera, Washington Commanders
Rivera and the Commanders lost to an objectively bad Giants team playing with their third-string quarterback. With the loss, the Commanders move to 4-7. Aside from two close games with the Eagles, Rivera has not been able to make the Commanders a true competitor in their division.
Brandon Staley, LA Chargers
The Chargers lost to the Green Bay Packers in Week 11 to move to 4-6. Despite having an elite quarterback in Justin Herbert, the Chargers have managed to let so many close games slip away this season, and with this loss, there went yet another one. Staley should be feeling the heat as he moves to a 23-21 overall record with the Chargers.
