It was a rough week for the two favorites in the AFC East. The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills suffered losses. The Dolphins have one game lead in the division at 5-2. Shockingly, the only team with a positive record in the division is the New England Patriots at 2-1 in the AFC East.
To start Sunday, the Patriots came out and took down the Bills. Nobody could’ve predicted that. Josh Allen and the Bills offense have some issues they need to fix. This also isn’t the typical Bills defense the we have seen in the past. They’ve struggled all season and it showed against the Patriots. Mac Jones drove the Patriots down the field with 1:30 left on the clock to score a game winning touchdown. It will be a quick turnaround for the Bills as they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football.
Miami Had a disappointing showing on Sunday Night Football. It was close for a good portion of the game, but fell apart in the 4th quarter. That was a real chance for the Dolphins to show that they could beat good competition. Tua Tagovailoa didn’t play great, but there were a few plays that he could’ve gotten some help. The Tyreek Hill dropped touchdown was a killer for the Dolphins. They will look to bounce back at home against the Patriots next week. The New York Jets were on bye week and will take on the New York Giants in Week 8.
