The Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins meet up in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL preseason at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and the game will air on FOX 5 in Atlanta and WFOR 4 (CBS) in Miami. The Dolphins were shut out in the second half of last week’s preseason opener at the Chicago Bears and ultimately fell 23-13. Starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa looked poised operating the offense but was picked off by DeAndre Houston-Carson in the endzone for a costly blemish on his stat sheet.
None of the Falcons’ primary starters were on hand in last weekend’s 23-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans as new head coach Arthur Smith worked out most of his backups. AJ McCarron and Feleipe Franks split reps at QB while the offense cycled through a committee of running backs and wide receivers getting touches.
