The Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears meet up in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL preseason at Soldier Field in Chicago. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. ET and the game will air on WIVB 4 (CBS) in Buffalo and FOX32 in Chicago. Given that this is the preseason, we’ll see plenty of unknown and lesser known faces on the rosters. To keep track of who you’re watching checking out the Bills roster and the Bears roster.
The Bears defeated the Miami Dolphins 20-13 in their preseason opener last Saturday and the story was rookie quarterback Justin Fields having a nice showing in front of the home Bears fans in his preseason debut. The rookie from Ohio State held his own by going 14-of-20 for a 142 yards and a passing touchdown, also adding a rushing touchdown to his statsheet. We should see him suit up again for Chicago in this one.
The Bills were able to secure a 16-15 win over the Detroit Lions last Friday thanks to the leg of Tyler Bass, who drilled a 44-yard field goal with 15 second left for the game-winning score. Davis Webb and Jake Fromm mostly split snaps at quarterback in the first game and what makes this upcoming game intriguing is this will mark the return to Chicago of backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.
If you aren’t around a TV to check out this preseason contest, you’ll need to dig a little deeper for streaming options. While regular season games are usually available outside the two local markets, preseason games are much more limited. To view this game via live online stream, you’ll need to use NFL Game Pass. If you are not planning on watching every week of the preseason, the service offers a free seven-day trial.
The Bears are a 5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and -235 on the moneyline. The Bills are a +190 moneyline underdog. The point total is installed at 38.5.
