How to watch Thursday, August 19th NFL Network schedule on TV and via live stream

NFL Network is broadcasting the Patriots-Eagles game for out-of-market viewers to open Week 2 of the preseason on Thursday, August 19th. We break down national and local broadcasting options, and how to watch the game via live stream.

Will Bill Belichick shock the world and start Mac Jones in week 1?

NFL Network will be broadcasting one game on Thursday, August 19th for out-of-market viewers. The New England Patriots will play the Philadelphia Eagles on the road, and the top storyline is likely to be the New England quarterback competition between Cam Newton and rookie Mac Jones.

Jones made his preseason debut last week and figures to see plenty of work as the coaching staff has a fantastic opportunity to evaluate their quarterback of the future. On the other side, Jalen Hurts is going into his first season as the full-time starter for the Eagles.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out the NFL Network slate, you can stream the games via NFL.com, the NFL Network app, and through NFL Gamepass. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription for these. If you don’t have a cable login, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the games.
