Who will see playing time for Bengals vs. Washington in Week 2 preseason

The Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Football Team face off in Week 2 of NFL preseason on Friday. We take a look at who’s likely to see playing time in this preseason matchup.

Can Ryan Fitzpatrick have over 31.5 Touchdowns in 2021?

The Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Football Team will play their second preseason game on Friday, August 20th. Tracking which players will be available in the preseason can be difficult to find, but we’ve done the homework and have the latest look at who will suit up on Friday night.

Quarterbacks

Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow sat out the first week of the preseason, and he will do the same on Friday night. We’ll see if he sees the field for the Bengals in Week 3 to get ready for the regular season after tearing his ACL in 2020. Ryan Fitzpatrick made his debut in a Washington jersey last week, and there is no reason to think he won’t be available on Friday night.

Running Backs

Washington’s top options on the depth chart saw the field in the first game of the preseason, and they should be available for Week 2. The Bengals gave Joe Mixon just one carry in the first preseason game and with the workload he is expected to receive in 2021, there’s not much of a reason to run him much at this stage.

Wide Receivers

Rookie Ja’Marr Chase made his professional football debut last weekend, and there doesn’t appear to be many reason to think Bengals wide receivers will sit out on Friday night. Washington’s Curtis Samuel was just activated from the PUP list with a groin injury, and it is unlikely he will see the field this weekend.

Tight Ends

Washington’s top tight end Logan Thomas caught one pass for 24 yards in his first preseason game last week, and he and the tight end room should be ready to go for Week 2. Cincinnati isn’t very deep at the tight end position, but there is no reason to expect anybody to sit out on Friday night.
