The Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts meet up in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL preseason at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET. You can find local broadcast info for the Panthers here, while the Colts will air the game on FOX 59 for their local markets. Given that this is the preseason, we’ll see plenty of unknown and lesser known faces on the rosters. To keep track of who you’re watching checking out the Panthers roster and the Colts roster.
Carson Wentz is among the most underrated storylines heading into the 2021 season as he reunites with Frank Reich in Indianapolis to resurrect his career. The Colts finished 11-5 last season and lost to the Buffalo Bills in the wild card round. Carolina brought in a new quarterback as well, as the Panthers traded for Sam Darnold this offseason. He just turned 24 years old and was not set up for success with the New York Jets, so it will be interesting to see what comes of his tenure in Carolina.
If you aren’t around a TV to check out this preseason contest, you’ll need to dig a little deeper for streaming options. While regular season games are usually available outside the two local markets, preseason games are much more limited. To view this game via live online stream, you’ll need to use NFL Game Pass. If you are not planning on watching every week of the preseason, the service offers a free seven-day trial.
The Colts are a 1.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and -130 on the moneyline. The Panthers are a +110 moneyline underdog. The point total is installed at 34.5.
