The NFL announced the complete 2021 schedule on Wednesday, May 12th, and the Seattle Seahawks are officially set to kick off their 2021 season against the Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 p.m. ET. Their first divisional game will be in Week 4 on the road against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Seahawks won the NFC West last season, finishing with a 12-4 record. The team was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs to their division rivals, the Los Angeles Rams. Arguably Seattle’s biggest move this offseason was letting go of OC Brian Schottenheimer and hiring Rams passing game coordinator Shane Waldron to take over the play-calling duties.
The team only had three draft picks this year, starting in the second round with wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge. He’s an intriguing slot option, but the team will be counting more on its veteran additions. The team acquired guard Gabe Jackson, cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, and tight end Gerald Everett to boost roster depth.
All times listed are Eastern.
