The NFL announced the complete 2021 schedule on Wednesday, May 12, and the New York Giants are officially set to kick off their 2021 season against the Denver Broncos on September 12th at 4:25 p.m. ET. Their first divisional game will be in Week 2 on Thursday Night Football, on the road against the Washington Football Team.

The New York Giants had a chance to win the NFC East last season, despite them finishing with a record of 6-10. They lost star running back Saquon Barkley to a season-ending knee injury in Week 2, but still continued to fight. The Giants went into the Week 11 bye with at 3-7, but went 3-3 in the last six weeks. In free agency, New York was active on both sides of the ball, signing WRs John Ross, Kenny Golladay, and tight end Kyle Rudolph. On defense, the Giants put the franchise tag on DE Leonard Williams and signed CB Adoree Jackson to a three-year deal, bolstering their secondary. To wrap-up the offseason, the Giants took WR Kadarius Toney with their first-round pick. With an abundance of talent on offense, it’s time for QB Daniel Jones to take that next step in his development. For New York to win the NFC East, it will fall on his shoulders.

All times listed are Eastern.
