Report: Teams reaching out to Patriots about possible trade for N’Keal Harry

The former first round pick has not had a great start to his NFL career in New England.

Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network reported on Wednesday that multiple teams are reaching out to the New England Patriots inquiring about a trade for wide receiver N’Keal Harry.

The Pats just drafted Harry not too long ago in the 2019 NFL Draft with the 32nd pick. The former Arizona State Sun Devil standout has had a rough first two seasons in the NFL, which have been hampered by injuries and inconsistent play.

Last season, Harry had 33 receptions (57 targets) for 309 yards and two touchdowns. His production in year two was a slight improvement from what he did as a rookie, but for a first round pick it was not good enough. As a rookie in 2019, the 23-year-old wideout only had 12 receptions (24 targets) for 105 yards and two touchdowns in seven games. Harry missed the first part of his rookie season due to an ankle injury.

If the Patriots were to trade Harry, it would go down as another drafted wide receiver who did not pan out under head coach Bill Belichick.
