The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up the 2020 regular season with a 6-10 record and hold the No. 10 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. They were not eliminated from NFC East contention until the last day of the season, but that speaks to the quality of the division.
Things went south for the Cowboys when Dak Prescott fractured his ankle in Week 5. Andy Dalton kept them in the divisional race, but the season was lost when Prescott went down. Heading into the 2021 offseason, Dallas will look to upgrade the offensive line and find some help in the secondary.
2021 opponents
The Dallas Cowboys will face their NFC East divisional opponents six times, half at home and half on the road. In addition, they draw matchups against all for teams from the AFC West and NFC South. The NFL is expected to add a 17th game to the regular season schedule that will feature an inter-conference matchup with a similarly placed team. The Cowboys would face the AFC East.
