We’ve been getting pretty lucky with NFL weather the last few weeks and, crossing fingers, it looks like we’ll continue that streak.
We’ll go through the games that look to have the worst wind, cold and possible precipitation and also give you the games where we shouldn’t need to worry about weather, i.e., the games you can choose from in DFS without getting an ulcer. Helpful weather resources include National Weather Service and Dark Sky, among others.

Worst weather games
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills
This is yet another good week for weather, so the “bad” weather games aren’t all that bad. Orchard Park in January could be a whole lot worse than it is this Sunday. But, there is a 70 percent chance of rain, with temperatures in the mid-30s. The good news is that there is no wind to speak of, so much will depend on how much and how hard the rain comes down.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
MetLife stadium will get some rain on Sunday, as they have a 75 percent chance of precipitation. The temperatures look like they’ll stay above freezing in the low 40s with winds around 10 mph. As is, this game should be fine for your fantasy plays, but we should keep an eye on wind and just how much rain they’ll get during the game.
Better weather games
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati will be around 40 degrees with cloudy skies and a 20 percent chance of rain. Winds should be around 10 mph. Unless that wind and rain forecast really increases over the next 48 hours, I don’t see any problems here.
New York Jets at New England Patriots
Partly cloudy skies, mid 30s, light winds, nothing to worry about in Foxborough.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
Temperatures in the high 30s, light winds and 20 percent chance of rain and pain.
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams
Temperatures in the mid-60s, sunny skies and light wind. Sounds pretty, pretty good.
Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears
This looks like the coldest game and it should hover right around freezing. Winds should be around 5-10 mph with no precipitation. A nice spring day in Chicago.
Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos
Denver looks great, with highs in the low to mid-50s, light winds and no rain.
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City won’t have meaningful football, but it will have light winds, sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-30s.
Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa will have a very January forecast with temperatures in the mid-60s, sunny skies and wind around 10 mph.
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
Temperatures in the high 50s, sunny skies and light wind await the Saints.
Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers will finish their 2020 season at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The weather will be perfect, with temperatures in the mid-60s, light winds and no precipitation.
Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans
Houston follows suit, with temperatures in the mid-60s, wind from 5-10 mph, and sunny skies.
Washington Football Team at Philadelphia Eagles
The night game will be around 40 degrees with a 30 percent chance of rain and winds 5-10 mph.
