Rams vs. Bills, Week 3: How to watch, what to watch

The Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills face off in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season. We break down how to watch the game, odds for the matchup, key injuries, and notable fantasy football start/sit considerations.

The Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams will match up at Bills Stadium in Week 3 as both teams look to build on a hot start and remain unbeaten. Buffalo is coming off a 31-28 win over Miami. The Rams routed the Eagles 37-19 in Week 2.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been one of the most exciting players in the league, commanding an offense that ranks in the top 10 in yards and points. Newly-acquired wideout Stefon Diggs has fit in nicely in Buffalo, leading the Bills with 239 receiving yards. Buffalo has had an easy schedule so far, facing the Jets and Dolphins, so Aaron Donald and the Rams will be a good measuring stick.

This will be Los Angeles’ second straight early East Coast kickoff, though the time change didn’t seem to affect Jared Goff last week. He completed 20 of 27 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns. He is looking to return to Pro Bowl form after an up-and-down 2019 season.

Fantasy football start/sit advice

Rams

Darrell Henderson, Running back, $5,400

The Rams’ backfield is banged up after Cam Akers (rib) and Malcolm Brown (finger) suffered injuries against the Eagles. That leaves Henderson as the most desirable back of the bunch, especially after he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown against Philadelphia. He could be one of the most valuable ballcarriers in Week 3 if Akers and/or Brown can’t give it a go.

Tyler Higbee, Tight end, $5,900

Woods and Cupp have been Goff’s two favorite targets—until it comes time to score. Higbee has been the recipient of all three of Goff’s TD passes this season. He’s also not far behind Woods and Cupp with 94 receiving yards, making him a solid option at tight end against a Bills defense that just let Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki catch eight passes for 130 yards and a touchdown.

Bills

Josh Allen, Quarterback, $6,900

Where do we start with Allen? He’s completing 70 percent of his passes, averaging nine yards per pass attempt and has six touchdowns to zero interceptions. He’s also Buffalo’s second-leading rusher and the only Bill with a rushing touchdown. Everything Buffalo does revolves around him.

John Brown, Wide receiver, $5,700

Stefon Diggs has been Allen’s favorite target, but he could be shadowed by Jalen Ramsey this week. So it could be a good opportunity to roll with Brown, Allen’s No. 2 target. He has been reliable so far, racking up at least 70 yards and a touchdown in each of Buffalo’s first two games.
