New Orleans Saints roster updates from training camp

NFL training camp is under way and that means news will start flowing from each team. How that news will be distributed in the time of Covid-19 restrictions is still to be seen, but news will get out one way or the other. We’ll take that news and give you our fantasy and betting analysis. The Saints didn’t make many big moves this offseason, but did add Emmanuel Sanders as the No. 2 wide receiver. The addition of Sanders fills a big hole in the offense as the team looks to get back to the Super Bowl with Drew Brees. The window is shrinking fast on Brees’ career, so expect the Saints to be Super Bowl or bust for as long as they can.

* Alvin Kamara says he “tore his knee” in Week 6 of the 2019 season. — source — August 10

The knee “tear” did not require surgery after playing through the injury. He also dealt with a high ankle sprain and back troubles last season. If he can stay healthy, we can expect a bounce back season from the star running back.
