NFL training camp is under way and that means news will start flowing from each team. How that news will be distributed in the time of Covid-19 restrictions is still to be seen, but news will get out one way or the other. We’ll take that news and give you our fantasy and betting analysis. And that news and analysis, including roster moves, injuries, all the way to hype videos, will be disseminated right here, on this very page for the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers are into a major transition season after letting their long time quarterback Philip Rivers walk this offseason. They went after a quarterback early in the draft, picking Justin Herbert with the sixth overall pick to replace Rivers. Herbert is still green and Tyrod Taylor will more than likely start the season behind center. Overall they have a strong team, but will need Taylor or Herbert to step up to get wins this season.

High fantasy/betting impact
* Chargers coach Anthony Lynn: Sam Tevi is in the “driver’s seat” for the starting left tackle job — Source — August 14
Tevi hasn’t impressed and the offensive line remains problematic. Bryan Bulaga will start on the other side of the line, with Forrest Lamp offering reserve work.
* Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said Tyrod Taylor will “probably be our Day 1 starter.” — Source — August 1
This seems to have always been the plan. Taylor has started successfully in the past, most notably in Buffalo with Anthony Lynn as an assistant and offensive coordinator. His presence should help stabilize the position early on while Herbert learns the offense.
