Madden Stream Results

Bengals defense stands tall in 10-6 win over Cardinals — 4/3/20

The Bengals and Cardinals made their Madden Stream debuts on Friday afternoon, and Cincinnati pulled out the home win, 10-6. They had to stop a long potentially game-winning drive by the Cardinals that took most of the fourth quarter. After allowing two fourth-down conversions earlier in the drive, Carlos Dunlap dropped Kyler Murray ($10,200; 8.82 DKFP) for a sack that ended the drive and preserved the 10-6 win. The only touchdown in the game was scored by Tyler Boyd ($7,600; 12.7 DKFP) on a pass from Andy Dalton ($9,600; 9.76 DKFP). The unique winning lineup construction had Boyd at Captain’s Pick and included Murray, Dalton, the Bengals DST ($4,200; 9.0 DKFP) and Cardinals kicker Zane Gonzalez ($3,800; 8.0 DKFP).

Browns defeat Bengals in Wednesday’s early simulated game — 4/8/20

The Browns pulled out a 27-21 overtime win against the Bengals in their 1:00 p.m. ET simulated matchup, partially thanks to two rushing touchdowns from Kareem Hunt ($4,500; 18.90 DKFP), who was in the Captain’s spot in many top lineups. It was also a big afternoon for Odell Beckham Jr. ($9,400; 25.30 DKFP) and Baker Mayfield ($10,600; 17.04 DKFP), although neither were as good of a bargain as Hunt was. On the losing side, A.J. Green ($8,000, 15.40 DKFP) tallied 36 receiving yards and a touchdown on five receptions while also chipping in eight rushing yards.

Bills beat Bengals on late Cole Beasley touchdown — 4/11/20

In one of the more dramatic Madden sims we have seen, Josh Allen ($10,800; 10.98 DKFP) tossed a late touchdown to Beasley ($9,000) to seal a 17-13 comeback win over the Bengals. The late score gave Beasley a game-high 17.1 DKFP. The Bills’ only other touchdown came from an unexpected source — the ageless Frank Gore ($2,200). He only had four rushing yards, but the vulture TD made him a solid value with 6.4 DKFP. The Bengals got their only touchdown from Joe Mixon ($8,400). His 9.9 DKFP was the highest total for Cincy.

Bengals defeat Dolphins in Wednesday afternoon Madden stream — 4/15/20

The Bengals shut down the Dolphins in their simulated matchup, winning 20-7. It was a big afternoon for John Ross III ($4,400, 18.3 DKFP), who caught five passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Giovani Bernard ($3,200, 10.3 DKFP) also provided some cheap production thanks to him registering a rushing touchdown. On the losing side, Mike Gesicki ($7,800, 13.8 DKFP) had a productive afternoon for the Dolphins with six receptions for 78 yards.

Bengals’ 41-38 win over Raiders features fantasy points for everyone — 4/22/20

There was no shortage of fantasy points in the Bengals’ 41-38 win in overtime against the Raiders in what was mostly a defense-optional contest. Both QBs went off with Derek Carr ($10,800; 34.64 DKFP) throwing for 391 yards and four TDs and Andy Dalton ($10,000; 29.2 DKFP) putting up 340 passing yards and three TDs. Zay Jones ($5,600; 31.6 DKFP) was the only player with multiple receiving TDs and finished with 106 yards on six catches. Tyler Boyd ($7,400; 31.6 DKFP) almost exactly matched that production with seven catches for 160 yards and a TD. Joe Mixon ($9,000; 27.8 DKFP) had two TDs with 128 rushing yards. John Ross III ($3,600; 28.3 DKFP) and Darren Waller ($7,800; 29.3 DKFP) also got in on the action with over 100 yards and a score.

Redskins best Bengals for first Madden Stream win — 4/25/20

The Redskins have come close to getting a win in their last few simulations, but they finally broke through and beat the Bengals 28-24 on Friday afternoon. Dwayne Haskins Jr. ($10,400; 32.28 DKFP) led the way throwing for all four of Washington’s touchdown and 332 passing yards, but no receiver had multiple touchdown catches. Paul Richardson ($6,600; 28.9 DKFP) was a great value, hauling in seven passes for 129 yards and a touchdown, and Trey Quinn ($3,800; 15.4 DKFP) was also involved with a score for even cheaper. While Cincinnati didn’t win, it finally got a big game from A.J. Green ($10,200; 27.2 DKFP) who had averaged just 9.4 DKFP before breaking out for 182 yards and a touchdown on six catches in this contest.

Darius Slayton and the Giants walk off winners over the Bengals — 4/27/20

In a game full of fantasy goodness, Slayton ($6,800; 25.5 DKFP) came on late with two touchdowns, including a long touchdown in overtime to give the Giants a 37-31 win over Cincinnati. He finished with 98 yards, just short of the 100-yard bonus. Both QBs were good plays as Andy Dalton ($9,800; 33 DKFP) and Daniel Jones ($10,400; 27.16 DKFP) each threw for four touchdowns while Tyler Boyd ($7,600; 37 DKFP) had two TDs and 140 yards, most of which came in the first half. In the second half, John Ross III ($4,800; 20.7 DKFP) stepped in as Dalton’s go-to option and finished with a good game of his own with 87 yards and a touchdown that tied the game and sent it to overtime.

Bengals grind out a Madden victory over Lions despite a huge sim for Kenny Golladay — 4/30/20

This was an ugly 19-14 win for Cincinnati, which was led by the kicking game. Randy Bullock ($4,200; 17 DKFP knocked in four field goals plus an extra-point on the Bengals’ lone touchdown — a rushing TD by Joe Mixon ($8,800; 12.2 DKFP). Kenny Golladay ($9,600; 29.8 DKFP) stole the show in the sim, though, posting a 5-151-1 line. Golladay was captained at 6.6% and dropped 44.7 DKFP in the winning lineup. Matthew Stafford ($11,000; 16.62 DKFP) threw a pair of touchdowns in the losing effort, with the other going to T.J. Hockenson ($6,400; 9.6 DKFP).

Tyler Boyd’s big afternoon can’t bring down Panthers in loss — 5/3/20

Boyd ($7,400) was the talk of the 19-13 loss for the Bengals, as he pulled down six receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown, giving him 25.8 DKFP and 38.7 in the Captain’s spot. He accounted for the majority of the 221 passing yards from Andy Dalton ($10,000), who had an unusually quiet game. DJ Moore ($9,200) finally paid off his big salary with four receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown on his way to a 18.3 DKFP performance. Curtis Samuel ($6,400) continued to provide some solid mid-tier value with another double-digit fantasy game. Samuel pulled down eight receptions for 74 yards and 15.4 DKFP.

Bengals upset Chargers 19-14 in Wednesday simulation– 5/6/20

Both WR1s came to play in our first simulation as A.J. Green ($9,600; 16.3 DKFP) and Keenan Allen ($10,200; 22.5 DKFP) both had big games in a relatively low-scoring contest. The Bengals held on for the 19-14 win and Gio Bernard ($2,400; 15.1 DKFP) stepped up again as a solid value play with over 50 yards on the ground with a touchdown, two catches and 20 receiving yards. Bernard was actually the Captain’s Pick in the winning lineup with both big-name WR along with Philip Rivers ($10,800; 14.16 DKFP) and Austin Ekeler ($2,800; 12.6 DKFP), who provided good value from the Chargers’ side.

Bengals escape, 24-20, over Jacksonville– 5/8/20

Cincinnati narrowly defeated the Jaguars in this NFL simulation, and they did it on the back of Tyler Eifert (CPT; $11,700). The veteran TE went over 100 yards with a touchdown, scoring 41.4 DKFP in the Captain spot. His teammate, Andy Dalton ($10,600) threw for three scores on the afternoon. The rest of the winning lineup contained Gardner Minshew ($10,200), Leonard Fournette ($8,400), John Ross ($4,600) and Josh Lambo ($4,000). This was a five-way tie for first.

Jameis Winston sees the end zone clearly in 39-35 win over Bengals– 5/10/20

While we cannot confirm if Winston ($10,800) had Lasik surgery in the Madden simulation world, he certainly didn’t look like a man who had much trouble seeing Sunday afternoon. Scoring 39.2 DKFP and 58.8 as a captain, Winston threw for five touchdowns and 381 passing yards in this closely battled contest against the Bengals. Mike Evans ($10,200) grabbed two of those on his four receptions while coming up a yard short of hitting the 100 receiving yard bonus. The Bucs’ win takes away from another huge performance from Andy Dalton ($10,400), who scored 30 DKFP with 375 passing yards and three touchdowns of his own.

Demaryius Thomas explodes in 34-24 win over Bengals — 5/12/20

Thomas ($5,600) may not have been on the top of your list to put in the captain spot when building your lineups, as only 3.6% did so. However, it turned out to be the right move, as he posted 42.6 DKFP in the captain spot with his 164 receiving yards on nine receptions. In the flex spot, he still earned you 28.4 DKFP, which was more than enough considering his mid-tier salary. Le’Veon Bell ($9,400) handled most of the scoring with three rushing touchdowns and 96 rushing yards, giving him 28.8 DKFP of his own. For the Bengals, A.J. Green ($10,600) went over 100 receiving yards once again, making seven receptions for 126 yards and 22.6 DKFP.

Broncos rally for 17-10 win in Cincinnati — 5/16/20

The Denver defense didn’t have any answer for White ($8,400; 36.5 DKFP), who ran wild against the Broncos piling up a sim-season-high 166 yards on the ground with a pair of touchdowns while adding three catches for 19 yards as well. The Patriots also got a big game from Ben Watson ($7,800; 21.3 DKFP), who didn’t find the end zone but did get 113 yards on his seven catches. Tom Brady ($11,200; 18.6 DKFP) did throw the two non-White scores to Julian Edelman ($10,200; 17.6) and Mohamed Sanu ($7,000; 18.5 DKFP). The Broncos lone touchdown came early in the game on a catch by Tim Patrick ($3,400; 11.8 DKFP), who was a nice salary saver.

Cowboys demolish Bengals in Madden simulation– 5/21/20

Dak Prescott ($10,600; 29.74 DKFP) and Ezekiel Elliott ($9,000; 22.8 DKFP) dominated the 35-3 victory, with the Bengals virtually accomplishing nothing. Dak tossed four touchdown passes, along with 256 yards through the air, and another 35 on the ground — good for 44.61 DKFP in the captain’s spot. ‘Zeke rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown of his own. While Amari Cooper ($10,200; 17.3 DKFP) and Michael Gallup ($5,800; 14.5 DKFP) both hauled in touchdowns, Dalton Schultz ($1,000; 13 DKFP) was the man that broke the slate. Schultz is buried on the depth chart at TE, but caught two passes for 50 yards and a score. He was practically unowned, but rostered by the first and second place lineups in showdown.

Bears win, 17-14, on late field goal– 5/23/20

It was a low-scoring game in sim land and with both teams going with a run first approach, there weren’t a ton of total plays in this contest. In the end, it was Mitchell Trubisky ($10,800; 20.16 DKFP) who was able to lead the Bears to a victory. He orchestrated a game-winning drive as the time expired. Trey Burton ($7,200; 12.2 DKFP) was his primary target, finishing with five catches for 72 yards. As the 17-14 final score indicates, there wasn’t a ton of fantasy production in this game.

Steelers top the Bengals in defensive struggle– 5/26/20

From a fantasy standpoint, this was far from the most exciting Madden sim we have seen. The Steelers won by a final score of 16-10 and there wasn’t much offense to speak of. James Washington ($5,000; 13.2 DKFP) led the game in DKFP by hauling in five catches for 82 yards. The Steelers’ only touchdown came courtesy of JuJu Smith-Schuster ($9,800; 12.8 DKFP), but he still didn’t have a great fantasy game since he only had 31 receiving yards. At minimal ownership, Chris Boswell ($4,200; 10 DKFP) was a difference maker in the showdown GPP with three field goals.

Rams hold on to defeat Bengals in Madden simulation– 5/29/20

When it comes to Madden streams, you never want to leave early. Cincinnati had done little of anything heading into the fourth quarter of tonight’s contest against Los Angeles, then John Ross III ($4,600; 27.3 DKFP) decided to step-up. The former first-round pick hauled in a touchdown with just over two minutes remaining, then, as the clock hit zero, he caught a desperation hail mary to surpass the 100-yard bonus. The Bengals still lost 24-18, yet Ross was suddenly the Captain in the winning lineup with his better-late-than-never performance. On the other side, Robert Woods ($7,200; 29.5 DKFP) was the main target for the Rams, finishing with seven receptions for 135 yards and a score.

Questionable play calling hurt the Titans in overtime– 6/2/20

The Titans played the Bengals in a thrilling overtime game, but the ending was a head scratcher. Down 30-27 in overtime, the Titans had the ball on fourth and 12. It seemed like an obvious passing situation to attempt to keep the game alive. Instead, Tennessee ran a draw play up the middle for three yards, ending the game. Neither QB hit the passing bonus although they both came close. Andy Dalton ($9,800; 19.86 DKFP) had 299 passing yards and Ryan Tannehill ($10,600; 19.6 DKFP) put up 290 yards. For skill position players, A.J. Green ($10,400; 18.2 DKFP) had the best fantasy game with a touchdown and 82 receiving yards.

Bengals shock Chiefs in Madden simulation– 6/4/20

Simulations are weird, guys. On Thursday night, the reigning Super Bowl Champions were taken down – at home – by lowly Cincinnati. I’m going to assume not a lot of people saw this one coming. I certainly didn’t. Kansas City lost by a final score of 28-21, with Patrick Mahomes’ ($11,400; 26.5 DKFP) desperation heave knocked away by the Bengals as time expired. The quarterback was still able to piece together a pretty nice performance in the loss, exceeding 300 yards passing; but the real standout of the evening was Tyler Eifert ($6,400; 28.1 DKFP). The Notre Dame product was just 19.3% owned on the Showdown slate, yet he’d finish with eight receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown.

Bengals shut down Eagles in Madden simulation — 6/7/20
Yikes. That was not an entertaining hour of football. However, it is the second consecutive road win for a Cincinnati team that continues to surprise. The Bengals went into Philadelphia and pulled out a narrow 9-3 victory on Sunday, with their defense taking center stage. In fact, when things were all said and done, Bengals D/ST ($3,400; 14.0 DKFP) was one of the slate’s highest-scoring assets, despite only being owned in 1.4% of Showdown lineups. Really, it was the Nick Vigil show. Cincinnati’s LB was all over the field, finishing the contest with two sacks, a safety and a handful of tackles for loss. The Bengals were also able to intercept Carson Wentz ($10,800; 7.5 DKFP) in the end zone.

Bengals come up short on offense to start Tuesday’s slate — 6/10/20
Tyler Eifert ($6,400; 15.6 DKFP) scored a touchdown in garbage time to make the final score 20-13, but this game wasn’t all that competitive. That was the only real offense the Bengals were able to muster against the Falcons in a fairly one-sided game. Devonta Freeman ($8,600; 19.6 DKFP) scored both of the touchdowns for Atlanta and was the only player on the team to score double-digit DKFP. The first game of the slate didn’t deliver much fantasy production.
