Dwayne Haskins having strong offseason

Washington QB Dwayne Haskins hopes to take a big step forward in year two.

Washington head coach Ron Rivera had praise for quarterback Dwayne Haskins’ commitment and work this this offseason. And Washington beat writer Grant Paulsen tweeted on Friday, praising him as well:

Haskins was thrown into the fire last season with a poor offensive line and it showed as he took 29 sacks in seven starts. But, he did end the season playing well and put up some throws you expect from the best in the league.

A jump in 2020 would be expected but Washington also did very little to improve their offensive line. Until we can see improvement there, it will be difficult for Haskins to do it all on his own.
