The Los Angeles Chargers have at least one and up to three individuals in the organization dealing with Covid-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
One member of the organization tested positive and two others have shown symptoms. Schefter reported owner Dean Spanos, GM Tom Telesco, and HC Anthony Lynn were not among the three individuals.
Schefter’s reporting suggests none of the individuals affected are players, but it is not entirely clear at this point.
The NFL is holding their draft next week and is opening the offseason workout program next Monday with a voluntary virtual plan for the next few weeks. The plan for a return to in-person practice remains uncertain until broader testing is available.
