The NFL and NFL Players Association agreed on a new collective bargaining agreement over the weekend, and with that business out of the way, the two sides appear set to start the new league on time.
The NFL free agency negotiation period opens at noon ET on Monday, and players are free to officially sign starting Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. There had been some talk of delaying the league year because of the COVID-19 outbreak, but the league appears set to kick things off on time.
The start of free agency will bring a host of player movement, and DraftKings Sportsbook is offering a free-to-play pool on where a group of eight players might land. The group includes Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, Jadeveon Clowney, Teddy Bridgewater, Ryan Tannehill, Marcus Mariota, Melvin Gordon, and A.J. Green. This was set up prior to Ryan Tannehill agreeing to a new deal with Tennessee, so you get a free answer out of this.
At least one of these players will end up with a wild card team, but for the time being, here are predictions from four of us here at DraftKings Nation for the pool.
