The NFL in the Covid-19 era has managed to push through with a few minor tweaks here and there, but the recent outbreak for the Baltimore Ravens has pushed the NFL to their limits as they try to keep from adding another week to the schedule.
For Week 12, the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers have been moved three times, starting on Thanksgiving night, to Sunday, then Tuesday and now Wednesday, December 2, at 3:40 p.m. ET. And that of course will remain contingent on more testing.
For Week 13, the Ravens outbreak has pushed the Steelers game against the Washington Football Team to Monday, December 7 at 5:00 p.m. ET from their original Sunday time slot, while the Ravens and Cowboys, who were scheduled for Thursday night, has been pushed to Tuesday, December 8 at 8:05 p.m. ET.
And to add caveats to caveats, these times are subject to change based on daily testing of individual players. The league has seen a jump in Covid-19 positives as the country has also seen a corresponding increase, so we can’t expect smooth sailing once the Ravens outbreak is under control.
