The NFL moved the Ravens-Steelers Week 12 game back one more day, pushing them to play on Wednesday night, per Gerry Dulac. If that game is indeed played on Wednesday, that puts the Steelers playing again on Monday against the Washington Football Team.
This adjusted schedule would give the Steelers just four days between games. And if everything somehow goes ahead as planned, that appears to be the way things will be. The NFL could still move their Week 13 Monday games up to Tuesday to give the Steelers and Ravens an extra day, but I don’t see anymore changes coming unless the NFL is forced to by new positive tests.
In the end, both the Steelers and Ravens had positive Covid-19 tests in Week 12, but the Ravens lost all control of the virus, causing the postponement of their game and the possibility that the Steelers will need to play on four days rest. But, this is what happens when the NFL doesn’t properly prepare for these problems. Just pushing games through doesn’t seem to be the best course of action so far.
