The Washington Football Team is pulling out all the stops in a key NFC East matchup on Thanksgiving. Offensive coordinator Scott Turner called a fun little trick play that involved quarterback Alex Smith taking the snap, moving behind running back JD McKissic and then handing the ball forward to him in a variation of the fumblerooski.
The Dallas Cowboys had no idea what was going on and were slow to react. McKissic ran left and then upfield to pick up six yards and a first down.

Here’s a look at the play from another angle that lets us see the Washington offensive players acting like the play is running to the right and completely confusing Dallas long enough for McKissic to get the first down.
