The Chicago Bears offense has struggled to get going with any regularity, but Cordarrelle Patterson has stepped up. Trailing 7-6, Patterson ran back the Minnesota Vikings kickoff to open the third quarter for a 105-yard score. Chicago leads 13-7 and may be able to win this thing in spite of Nick Foles’ QB play.
Patterson has been a key cog on offense, getting the lead role at running back to go along with his returner and receiver work. He has seven rushing attempts for 25 yards and a nine-yard reception to go along with the return.
