The Miami Dolphins are won of the hottest teams in football and remain in the hunt for the AFC East title. They’ve won four straight games and will look to extend their winning streak in Week 10 against the struggling Los Angeles Chargers.
The Dolphins unexpectedly benched Ryan Fitzpatrick for Tua Tagovailoa during their Week 7 bye and haven’t lost since making the change. The rookie was far from impressive in his first NFL start but bounced back in Week 10 to top the Arizona Cardinals in a shootout. The jury is still out on how successful Tagovailoa can be, but he has an ideal matchup against a Chargers defense that’s given up a ton of fantasy points to quarterbacks.
The Chargers’ passing attack has flourished with Justin Herbert under center, but they are just 2-6 and have lost several games in a heartbreaking fashion. The rookie signal-caller has targeted Keenan Allen more than anyone but has been able to produce with a plethora of other targets as well. Los Angeles has had no problem putting points on the the board despite not having Austin Ekeler, but its defense can’t seem to stop the opposition from scoring either.

Fantasy football start/sit advice
Chargers
Justin Herbert, Running Back, $6,600
Herbert has thrown for multiple scores in five straight games and is averaging just under 40 attempts per game. He ranks third in passing yards per game with 306.6 and will likely continue to power the Chargers’ offense with his arm. Miami’s defense has been on a tear lately but few Chargers players can match Herbert’s ceiling.
Keenan Allen, Wide Receiver, $7,100
Allen has been targeted at least 10 times in six games this season. Only Stefon Diggs has more targets than Allen in 2020. His 72 percent catch rate shows that he makes the most of his high exposure. While he’ll have tough matchups against Byron Jones and Xavien Howard, his excellent route running almost always puts him in a position to make plays.
Dolphins
Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback, $5,600
The Chargers’ defense ranks 30th against quarterbacks and Tagovailoa rattled off 21.2 DKFP against a comparable Arizona Cardinals secondary. Tagovailoa has a quality WR1 in DeVante Parker and an above average tight end in Mike Gesicki at his disposal. There’s a good chance he’ll be Miami’s top scorer.
DeVante Parker, Wide Receiver, $5,000
Parker’s price has dropped $1,000 since the season opener and he’s one of several affordable Dolphins pass catchers. His chemistry with Tagovailoa is growing and his role will be more important than usual with Myles Gaskin on the IR.
