The Buffalo Bills announced on Saturday that veteran cornerback Josh Norman tested positive for coronavirus and was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Tight end Tyler Kroft, cornerback Levi Wallace, and safety Dean Marlowe were also placed on the list as they were identified to have close contact due to the NFL’s contract tracing protocol.
Furthermore, all four players will not be traveling with the team for their game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. The Bills’ cornerback depth takes a major hit as they will have to depend on Tre’Davious White, Taron Johnson, and practice squad players in Daryl Worley and Dane Jackson.
Norman was Bills’ starting outside opposite of White, while Wallace was a backup for both outside cornerback position. Offensively, the Bills lose their backup tight end in Kroft, meaning we will likely see more snaps for Reggie Gilliam and Lee Smith.
With this latest news, DraftKings Sportsbook point total for Sunday’s game has gone up from 53 to 55.5 points.
