As Week 8 of the NFL season comes to a close, we break down the standings as the league starts to look to Week 9.

Week 8 is underway and the NFL has another unbalanced schedule. We had eight games in 1 p.m. slot and have three in the 4:05/4:25 p.m. slot. For some reason the Steelers-Ravens game got a 1 p.m. spot, which means arguably the biggest game of the weekend wrapped early — and it was the back-and-forth affair we’ve come to expect from this rivalry.

We’ll be updating the standings throughout the rest of the today and Monday evening.

The Bills got a huge win after Cam Newton coughed up a late fumble. Meanwhile, the Dolphins secured an upset win in Tua Tagovailoa’s starting debut.

  1. Buffalo Bills, 6-2
  2. Miami Dolphins, 4-3
  3. New England Patriots, 2-5
  4. New York Jets, 0-8

  2. Indianapolis Colts, 5-2
  3. Houston Texans, 1-6
  4. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1-6

  2. Las Vegas Raiders, 4-3
