The 2020 season has not been kind to the Dallas Cowboys. They lost franchise quarterback Dak Prescott to a broken ankle and backup Andy Dalton suffered a concussion in the team’s Week 7 loss to Washington. They sit at 2-5, and while they remain alive in an awful NFC East division, things aren’t trending in the right direction.
Even before Prescott got hurt, the Cowboys were struggling in most every other aspect of the game. Notably, their defense has been one of the worst in the league. They rank dead last in points allowed and are in the bottom few among various advanced metrics.
All that being said, it’s somehow fitting Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Nolan hurt himself during a press conference when he accidentally got TABASCO Sauce in is eye. He had to rub his eye at one point and forgot he had some of the sauce still on his finger. It resulted in a delay on the session while he got his eye cleared out.
Just your daily dose of Cowboys DC Mike Nolan rubbing Tabasco in his eye. Carry On. pic.twitter.com/4mdrzIBPcm

This makes for easing mocking given how bad the Cowboys season has gone. And yet, who among us as not at least accidentally touched our face after either touching some hot sauce or cutting up a jalapeno, or who knows what. I generally try and remember not to touch my face, but I’m not going to sit here and judge him on this one.
That being said, the Cowboys defense is still a hot mess and there’s a better than even chance Nolan is out of a job before the end of the season.
