NFL flexes Raiders-Bucs out of Week 7 Sunday Night Football, moves in Seahawks-Cardinals

The NFL is making this move as a precaution in case the Raiders can’t play this week due to Covid-19.

The NFL announced on Thursday it is making a change for Week 7 Sunday Night Football. The previously scheduled game between the Buccaneers and Raiders is being moved to 4:05 PM ET earlier on Sunday. In its place, the league is moving Seahawks-Cardinals into prime time.

The decision comes as the Raiders sort through Covid-19 issues. Trent Brown tested positive and has been placed on injured reserve. The team’s entire starting offensive line self-isolated because of the close contact with Brown.

The Raiders are going through contact tracing and continue daily testing through the week. Any final answer on the game status could go all the way up until Saturday before the Bucs are scheduled to travel to Las Vegas.
