The NFC East is still wide open and the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles will kick off Week 7 by duking it out in a Thursday Night Football matchup. The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET and will be aired on FOX, NFL Network, and via live online stream on Amazon Prime.
The Giants finally got their first win of the season by topping the Washington Football Team by a point in Week 6. The Giants’ defense showed up in that game but its offense is still stagnant. Daniel Jones has struggled with Saquon Barkley and Darius Slayton stands out as New York’s only noteworthy skill player so far this season. New York’s backfield will need to show up against Philadelphia’s elite run defense to compete.
The Eagles are expected to be without Miles Sanders (knee) and Zach Ertz (ankle). Both were injured against the Baltimore Ravens in Week and could miss multiple games. Boston Scott will have to step up as the feature back against one of the better run defenses in the NFL and Travis Fulgham could continue to carry the passing attack despite the scheduled return of DeSean Jackson. Carson Wentz is looking to help Philadelphia improve from 1-4-1 and a victory could help them seize control of the division.
