The NFL has officially rescheduled the Steelers-Titans game to Week 7, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The changes were as we expected, as the Titans have a bye in Week 7 and Ravens and Steelers play each other in Week 7, but also have byes in Week 8. Here’s what that looks like per Rapoport:
— Steelers-Titans originally scheduled for Sunday is now Oct. 25 at 1 pm on CBS.
— Steelers-Ravens will move from Week 7 to Week 8 on Sunday, November 1 at 1 PM on CBS.
— Steelers-Titans now have a bye and the Ravens bye, originally set for Week 8, will now be in Week 7.
If the NFL can isolate this Covid-19 breakout to just the Titans and it doesn’t continue into next week for them, everything will be just fine. Of course, we have 13 more weeks of regular season football and hundreds of games and team travel to navigate. Also, the Titans continue to get popped with new positive tests, with two more on Friday. If this isn’;t the last of the positive tests for Tennessee, next week’s game versus the Bills could also be in jeopardy.
