Giants vs. Rams: How to watch, what to watch in Week 4

The Giants and Rams face off in Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season. We break down how to watch the game, odds for the matchup, key injuries, and notable fantasy football start/sit considerations.

The Los Angeles Rams welcome the winless, hopeless, and depressing New York Giants this week. The Rams are coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills that saw them nearly come back from a 21-3 deficit. The Giants were demolished by the 49ers in a 36-9 smack down.

The Giants had reasons to be positive in the opening moments of the game. Those positives didn’t last long. The 49ers passing offense dominated the Giants and highlighted a flurry of defensive passing issues that Rams will be sure to exploit.

Jared Goff and the Rams offense looked really good against the Bills. Cooper Kupp finished with 107 receiving yards and Darrel Henderson dominated in the backfield. The issues that came up were on the defensive side of things.

Fantasy football start/sit advice

Giants

Dion Lewis, Running Back, $4,400:

The Giants running game post Saquon Barkley injury was horrendous. There’s still a chance value will be found in one of the three running backs the Giants are believing in. However, until one of Dion Lewis, Wayne Gallman or Devonta Freeman proves out that they’re the clear number one, it probably isn’t worth the risk.

Giants, Defense, $2,600:

Pretty much every Giants fantasy prospect is a stay away most weeks. The Giants defense against a pretty confident Rams offense is certain stay away. Every aspect of the Giants defense was torched against a beaten up 49ers team. I wouldn’t expect a much better performance against this Rams offense.

Rams

Darrell Henderson, Running Back, $5,800:

In his last four quarters of play, Darrell Henderson had 167 rushing yards with a touchdown. The Rams running game is such a vital part of keeping Jared Goff comfortable. Expected a continued emphasis and success on the ground against the Giants.

Jared Goff, Quarterback, $6,700:

If you watched any of the second half of the Giants attempting to defend a beaten up 49ers offense, you got excited for the prospect of Jared Goff against that same defense. There’s little reason to think that Goff’s early season success won’t continue against the New York football Giants.
