Brandon McManus has six field goals in Broncos lead

The Broncos are beating the Patriots thanks to the leg of Brandon McManus.

The Denver Broncos are rolling over the New England Patriots in Week 6, and it has come primarily on the leg of kicker Brandon McManus. Denver has had six offensive possessions through the end of the third quarter, and all six have ended with McManus converting a field goal to give Denver an 18-3 lead.

For those wondering, the NFL record is eight converted field goals in a single game. Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas did it in a 38-36 win over the Houston Texans n Oct. 21, 2007.

UPDATE: The Broncos picked off Cam Newton late in the third quarter but settled for a punt early in the fourth quarter.
