The New York Giants travel to Dallas to take on a desperate Cowboys team. A combined 1-7 on the year, this isn’t a battle of the titans. But it is a vital game for the Dallas Cowboys and their sanity.
The Cowboys, despite a horrendous start to the season, are right there in the divisional battle. Their loss to the Browns last week vaulted them to the league’s worst scoring defense. They allow 36 points per game and come into their first divisional game of the season with their only win coming against a winless Falcons team.
Speaking of winless teams, the Giants come into AT&T Stadium having laid yet another egg against the Rams last week. The Giants racked up almost 300 yards of offense and couldn’t score a touchdown. Daniel Jones was subpar and the running game was the only impressive part of the offense.

Fantasy football start/sit advice
Giants
Giants, D/ST, $2,200
If you were tempted to start the Giants defense after a decent performance against the Rams, I’d hold off. The Giants are headed up against the best pass offense in the NFL, statistically speaking. Might be time for a week off if you rely on the Giants defense.
Daniel Jones, QB, $5,400
There isn’t much to be excited about if you’re a big Daniel Jones fan. He hasn’t looked all that good. Heading into this week, the Cowboys are the worst scoring defense, which means something has to give. Jones is the leading passer and rusher for the Giants. Which means unless they score 15 field goals, they’re probably going to score a touchdown on this terrible Boys defense. Jones is the most likely to be involved.
Cowboys
Dak Prescott, QB, $7,400
There’s much to be discussed in terms of Dak’s management of the game and pocket awareness. There isn’t much to be talked about when it comes to the stats that Dak is going to put up. He’s averaging 444 passing yards per game and has nine touchdowns already. He’s a machine because he needs to be with Dallas’s defense.
Amari Cooper, WR, $7,400
The main receiving target of the Cowboys hasn’t disappointed this year. Despite only having one touchdown so far this year, Cooper is averaging 100 yards per game and has been the big time target Prescott needs. The touchdowns should pick up and Cooper should never be on the bench.
