The New York Jets will have tight end Ryan Griffin active for their Week 14 matchup vs. the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Griffin had been dealing with an illness and was deemed questionable, but will be able to get in there for your fantasy football playoffs. With RB Le’Veon Bell ruled out, this is good news for the Jets, who need all the help they can get on offense.
Fantasy Football Analysis: New York Jets TE Ryan Griffin
Griffin has likely been a big reason why you’re in the playoffs with his production the past few weeks. He had only five catches for 30 yards in a good spot last week vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, but prior to that had caught a TD in back-to-back games with a combined eight catches for 122 yards. He’s posted double-digit fantasy points in four of six games and has a solid matchup vs. the Dolphins today. I think Griffin ($4,100) is an OK GPP option on DraftKings and a good streamer in season-long for the playoffs in shallow leagues. In a deeper league, if you have Griffin and he’s your only option, I’d say roll with him. TE isn’t a make-or-break position most of the time in fantasy football.
